Pointing a finger
at religion in government!

Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) national members who reside in New York State’s Finger Lakes Region, associate their FFRF membership with Upstate New York Freethinkers to support our local mission and outline. For every FFRF member who simply contacts us, FFRF provides $5 to our Chapter.

Chapter volunteers, who live in the Finger Lakes region, manage this page with Upstate New York Freethinkers. email them to provide your input.

Through our Chapter, learn about prominent historical freethinkers, possible local violations and FFRF actions in our region.

We invite U.S. Congressperson Joe Morelle, who represents the 25th District↗, to join our cause and the Congressional Freethought Caucus↗.

“I should regard being the slave of a religious master the greatest calamity that could befall me. For of all slaveholders with whom I have ever met, religious slave owners are the worst. I have ever found them the meanest and the basest, the most cruel and cowardly, of all others. It was my unhappy lot not only to belong to a religious slaveholder, but to live in a community of such religionists.”

—Frederick Douglass
